Arrived in France
Moved to Bayonne, France — a leap of faith that started as a university exchange and became a life-changing decision.
Exchange Year — IAE Pau-Bayonne (Master 1 Level)
International mobility year within the European and International Business Studies Master program at IAE Pau-Bayonne.
BUT Informatique — IUT de Bayonne et du Pays Basque
After 3.5 years of CS engineering in Mexico, I chose to stay in France and validate my skills with a French state diploma. Joined the 2nd year directly through a passerelle admission.
Internship — Exakis Nelite
10-week internship in the Data & BI department at Exakis Nelite (now Magellan Microsoft Services), Bidart. Built end-to-end ETL pipelines on Azure Data Factory and SQL Server (staging → ODS → star-schema warehouse with idempotent MERGE procedures), connected Power BI dashboards with DAX, and built a secure Azure Data Factory pipeline querying Microsoft Graph API for user and license data, with Service Principal authentication, Azure Key Vault, and historization via SQL Server temporal tables — leading to an alternance offer for my final BUT year.
